Thankfully KS haven't yet gone down the route of allowing people to get money from partially funded projects like Indiegogo do, KS have to achieve their funding goal or the creator gets nothing.

No, no money is taken until the project is funded at that point KS get all the money, keep their share and send the rest to the founder.

 

Indiegogo takes money at the point of your pledge.

Surely even the sort of people who send money to televangelists wouldn't contribute to something just because it was allegedly "Christian"?

 

I'm wondering if it's some sort of joke to see if they would - $10m needed to fund!

$10m at a dollar a time for a "reserved space in the Symbol Matrix Data Object Universe" might take a while, I'm thinking. I don't reckon he'll hit that in a month...

 

Anyone worked out what the Christian angle actually is, beyond "I'm a Christian"?

I'm just skimming through and there is some serious crazy going on here, if I worked at a big Comp Sci/Software firm near to this guy I'd be employing extra security for a while...

 

Also, he has helpfully produced a document detailing the project's scripture correlation. I'm still none-the-wiser.

 

Here's a great quote from aforementioned document:

it too much so I have not had a chance to fully analyze the message and need to spend some more time on this.

 

I genuinely think this guy has had a mental breakdown, there are lots of references to a woman who "tricked his mind" but he is thankful and has been "for over 10 years" hoping this will fix things... wife left him because he was going bible crazy perhaps?

I've skimmed through the text, and at first I thought it was one of those computer-generated papers on a certain topic (like the ones that occasionally make it past the reviewers and are actually published). But there's the occasional burst of lucidity, which makes me think that it was written by somebody with thoughts, but it doesn't make any sense at all.
