tmcd35 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 For Abe fans - I'm currently playing through the first one on PS1 again and the original has aged very well indeed. The game is one of the best I've ever played, easy. The new 'New n Tasty' version is this months free game on PS+ for PS4 owners (you've got a week left if you haven't nabbed it already). I've had a quick look at the PS4 version, booted it up and played the first level (I'll play it properly later), and I can tell you it is obviously a real labour of love by the developers. This is 100% true to the original game and the new HD graphics look stunning. For PC/XB1/PS3 owners who get to look at it this month - it's more than worth the asking price. Fans of the original really won't be disapointed. If you've never played any of the Abe games then pick this up, either free on PS4 before the end of the week or on PC/XB1/PS3, it's a true classic.

Although personally I'll stick with the Wii version as I find handheld consoles too uncomfortable for a game of that length.

I would have thought blood was blood no matter what the gender of the supplier. Maybe it's just that Danish ladies are pretty good at donating, but men aren't?

But then, like yourself, I too assumed that man blood and woman blood would be alright in either body. Don't they care more about plasma these days, anyway?

But suppose i'd rather have a game where it was thoroughly tested and as many bugs as possible were located/removed before it hitting the shelves

Little-Miss Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) I THINK there is a difference in plasma between genders (proteins and all that jazz), but i'm guessing that might be for more specific things. I think blood is blood as long as it's healthy/right type etc. I just think they're aiming at the male population, hoping they'll go for the freebies but come out with a warm fuzzy feeling and think "oh that wasn't so bad..." and go again. I've always wondered, is Xenoblade related to Xenosaga (PS2) and Xenogears (PS1, easily one of my favourites)? I could look it up, but I only seem to get info on Xenoblade and lazy.
