Max_Power Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Local Free School we partner recently moved over to this. No problems thus far, works well, does use up a fair bit of bandwidth when connecting with multiple users but other than that no complaints (yet).
tombry Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I was just shown it yesterday by my Capita rep - seems fairly seemless, although I would be concerned at peak periods that it would be dead slow. I'd also be worried about some of the larger reports I run, which I remote to the server to do, as my local machine can't handle it.

Surely you'd have a performance SLA, if you do, then who cares if Capita fixes it, if they need to spin up 100x large virtual servers at peak times because of poorly optimized code, that's their problem. You're paying them to take those problems away.
PhilNeal Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 As with all cloud solutions you will need a reliable Internet connection. Azure is hugely scalable - performance will not be a problem.
