Doesn't this happen every big delivery occasion? Christmas and Valentines day being amongst other notable examples?

Anecdotally, I ordered flowers from Interflora once. They arrived on Feb 14th as they were supposed to, but I was significantly unimpressed with their condition. Would not order again. Always find a local florist if you can!

While Yodel aren't the best, I'd sooner have them (or DPD ideally) delivering my Amazon Prime stuff than Amazon Logistics!

Yodel is probably my least favourite courier and I will actively try and not use them. DPD is my number 1 - Amazon Logistics I've only used the once (for two books) - I had a saturdya 8am - 8pn slot and they arrive at 7pm. On a saturday. I was fairly impressed.

At least in my area, they are Yodel. I don't know if things have changed now but certainly when Amazon Logistics started, they just sub contracted existing delivery drivers

I think Amazon Logistics are apart of Aplemk. As you say though, they are probably sub-contracting out.

Isn't that what Interflora is? You place an order and a florist local to the recipient supplies and delivers.

Maybe, not sure, but my point was more you see what you're getting before you pay for it with a local florist. There's no flowers getting chucked in a van and squished.
