You will notice Oliver Frey has created for us a truly stunning cover, we were so happy when it arrived, he really is one of the friendliest, most talented people we have ever had the fortune to meet and work with and we only hope we can do such a cover justice and make a great film should we get funded. We have decided to offer a kind of (for want of better words) loyalty scheme to all our original backers, that is anyone who pre-ordered and basically received a version of the ‘From Bedrooms to Billions’ with either of the two Oliver Frey covers. You will see the 4 post cards below, well ‘anyone’ who has previously backed or pre-ordered us on ‘From Bedrooms to Billions’ who is kind enough to go onto also back us on ‘The Amiga Years!’ please email us back with just the words ‘backed!’ and we will put you down to receive as a gift from us this lovely high gloss print A6 4 x postcard set of all the covers of the original film sent along with your copy of the Amiga Years! You will notice that one of them is Oliver Frey’s original concept sketch for the original poster from (cough) all those years ago! These postcards will be very collectable because we are never going to make them again, they are not for anyone else, as they are only intended for you, original backers as a thank you for kindly backing us on a new project.

win Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Best football game ever made has to be kick-off 2 on the Amiga! Graphics were a poor and minimal, as was the sound, but gameplay was super addictive. Makes me want to get my old amiga out of the loft and play it again

I will never love another machine like I loved my Amiga.

I will never love another machine like I loved my Amiga. Thanks for the heads-up Matt, I shall have to watch that I never had a Amiga, but knew plenty that did and always regret never investing in one when the opportunity arose. Another machine that hit the market at the right time but eventually got mangled once the 16 bit consoles arrived and the PC/Windows market became more affordable to get into.

I spent many many hours on this! Ahh Amiga nostalgia. Still have an A500+ in the loft. Might get it down and introduce my son (if he can sit still for long enough).

One of the main things I took away from the EduConf last year, was an immense jealousy for your meticulously well-planned mancave! My man corner is limited to a gaming PC and a wall of guitars, with space for an amp. When I finally get a place with a big enough garage / shed, I'm going to get the A500, c64, Acorn 3020 and the rest of my old machines out and useable.

klingklang Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Both the Amiga years and the original Bedroom to Billions are fantastic tv viewing. On the back of the original series i have now just about completed collecting over 150 machines from Atari Pong through to VR with the aim of taking this working historical museum to schools and colleges . There is a story to be told here but also giving children and some teachers access to historical hardware .

Well worth a watch for anyone interested in 8-bit or 16-bit computer systems. I think I've watched pretty much all the videos on her channel
