CAM Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 It's also worth pointing out that it's a roguelite. It's game over if you die. Though you can sometimes bypass that by using medics. Don't forget the microtransactions.
Garacesh Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Don't forget the microtransactions. Yeah, but not really.. I mean everything you get from vendors is bought with in-game currency. It's just pretty hard to grind up.. Quickest method I've found so far is to level up the [Career] tree. It means you gotta invest more time, but that's the tradeoff I guess. On the other hand, you could play the [Lottery] minigame and hope your [Luck] stat is high enough, but that's still a long shot. (http://www.reddit.com/r/outside, anybody?)
sted Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I should probably bring my 3DS into work and keep at that.. I've completed it and gotten Luigi. I also need to buy more 3DS games. Any recommendations? ) Fire emblem awakening first game in ages that I completed (>60 hours) then started again to try it differently as someone else said Zelda I basically got the 3ds for a Zelda game mario kart 7 pokemon if you like that sort of thing (I completed with all 150 odd red/blue ywars ago got black/white with the console played one till the final boss ( I think) and just cba the others still in celophane Wasn't that a car? I think calling a mini metro a car is pushing it though the later rover 111i was so bad to drive it was fun

Just recently beat the league on Ruby. Still more stuff to do, though! Never really been a Legend of Zelda fan.. Played one when I was little, I don't recall which one, I just remember not being very impressed by it. But then again, I was 'spoiled' with UT99, FFVIII and Resident Evil games, of which LoZ isn't really like any of those. Might be worth looking into again, I may like it now that I'm a big boy (that still plays Pokemon >.>) Mario Kart I should probably pick up, but it loses its playability very quickly as I really can't be bothered with multiplayer on handhelds. Also I have no friends.

Novalee Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Mini Metro (its like a London Underground simulator) , steam says i've played it for 90 hours now, i think I'm addicted. What is that like? Sounds like it might be my kind of game.
Quackers Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 What is that like? Sounds like it might be my kind of game. Mini Metro is their website, you can also take it for a spin using unity web player. Its very basic looking but don't be fooled the game play is great and its always a case of just 1 more go to try and beat your best score. Its still beta, £4.99 on steam for PC/Mac but once it goes out of beta it will be available on the iOS & Android too they say. 2441 is my best on the London Map
korifugi Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I play "walking into town to get food, and walking back". The Walking Bread - an episodic game, with updates released daily.
Tesla Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 i also sometimes play a textbased mafia game... assassinators.net -used to play it years ago and still on it... though nowhere near as active.. assassinators.net
ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 What is that like? Sounds like it might be my kind of game. It's fustratingly addictive! Simple interface, but clever game mechanics and a river top tunnel under make it a great play!
sparkeh Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Currently addicted to Little Alchemy Fopund 423/520 elements and its getting tough now.
hardtailstar Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I play 'Will I be able to eat in peace'. not really good at it.
Arreks Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I play 'Will I be able to eat in peace'. not really good at it. I had a high score of 'not been bothered for 20 minutes' once.. once.
X-13 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I had a high score of 'not been bothered for 20 minutes' once.. once. I managed to beat Ikana Castle yesterday and did a bit of the Stone Tower today. [stone Tower is confusing... I don't think I could do a 1 day run. ]

sparkeh Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Are "Chocolate", "Crazy" and "Sociopathic slave-driver" elements? Not that I've come across yet but there's still time. I have made Darth Vader and Yoda which was cool.

AlfaTech Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I was playing through Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, but have kinda lost momentum and not played it in weeks. I am now mostly reading the Wheel of Time series on my phone.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I am now mostly reading the Wheel of Time series on my phone. Crikey! That's a lot of looking at a tiny screen! Whereabouts are you at? Did you see the debacle that was the supposed 'Pilot' for a tv series that they snuck out the other night? So disappointing!
AlfaTech Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Crikey! That's a lot of looking at a tiny screen! Whereabouts are you at? Did you see the debacle that was the supposed 'Pilot' for a tv series that they snuck out the other night? So disappointing! No? Really. I wondered if they had/were going to make this into a film, I never expected a series. I'm up to book 5 - The Fires of Heaven now, but I read the prequel too. I don't mind the small print, but it was part of the reason I upgraded my phone to a slightly lager screen (from a Samsung Ace Plus to S3). I've read all 5 books of A Song of Fire and Ice on it too.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Yeah, Red Eagle Entertainment hold the rights for tv and games, however they were due to expire earlier this month unless they aired a tv series or film. Que a slot on a random american comedy channel at 1.30am that tey paid for as an advertising slot, and que a 30 minue 'pilot' based on the prologue of book one that was thrown together in a week. Now we have lots of people sueing lots of other people for lots of reasons. It's a shame really, as I think a TV series would work far better than a series of films, but until this is resolved it's definitely in the wrong hands right now. A bit of google-fu will give you the full details of the farce. I read a large chunk of the final 3 WOT books on my phone. I'd start them on the ipad and sync them when it was time to get my head down but needed just a few more pages.
