Miscbrah Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Avoid Audacity for anything like 'mixing,' though if you just want quick chopping and re-organising and a few effects I quite like the workflow. Other than that, nothing free tickles my pickle. Cubase for me.

It has loops and instruments as presets, and allows file imports of your own tracks/loops/samples as well as real-time recording using your machine's hardware.
