clarky2k3 Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Does anyone have a DOS driver needed for ghosting our new computers? The onboard LAN is Realtek RTL8201CL
K.C.Leblanc Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 http://www.netbootdisk.com/ , I've not yet found a network card this won't work with (some evil bugger will probably pop out of the wood work saying it doesn't work with their EISA token ring card).
localzuk Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Have you tried the universal driver? (Assuming you use Ghost Solution Suite 2).
PeterW Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Thats just the PHY, the LAN controller will be part of the chipset. What chipset are the mainboards using? Nvidia?
djm968 Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Have you tried the universal driver? (Assuming you use Ghost Solution Suite 2). Second that! PXE boot into > RIS(WDS) run > GHOST with Universal PXE Driver.
clarky2k3 Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 Sorted it out. Chipset is VIA so i used a VIA LAN driver. Works a treat. Thanks for all your suggestions. Will look into WDS!
