Some honest feedback.

Simple and straight forward - a clean feel. Sensible segregation of areas and pages into menus. Nothing which takes too many clicks.

I know it is temporary, but personally I dislike popups - especially those that take over the whole page. Menus on mobile a little clunky - I have had to attempt to open the services menu three times on my iPhone before it expanded rather than just take me to your services page.

Personally I like a few tweets on the home page, but if your plugin can, I'd try and resolve the real URLs rather than the t.co ones. Although I'm having this same trouble at the moment, so who am I to criticize.

You might want to retire the come and see us as Bett post?

Any developments to come - online support ticket tracking, service status page... etc. etc?

The popup was frustrating for me too, especially as sometimes it came up multiple times.

In IE11 the content on the page is very close to the edge. For example on this page. Primary School Broadband Services | Schools Broadband Schools Broadband and Technical and Service Delivery support | Schools Broadband Schools Broadband.

Would be useful to have this as a PDF. I was trying to print it earlier and couldn't get it to do it nicely. Schools Broadband | Prices Schools Broadband

Do let me know what you think and I'll give someone another Draytek router for the most constructive comment :)

I really like the way you get connected to the I.P if you click "Services" on the homepage.

Router please. :p

Le Clarify: When you click "Services" on the homepage the URL gets replaced with the I.P address.

ok thanks folks that's a good start at picking holes of things that are a bit broken.

Are there any positive comments apart from (@irritabletech) on the general feel, content and page linking!?

Thanks

I can only find minor things, favicon missing and images missing alt tags etc - I'm a fan of minimalist and clean approaches which sums your one right up!

I can see the mobile optimization and different viewscreens, they seem to work well which is good however some resolutions cause that top menu to break and end up floating all over the place (533x853 is an example).

The content boxes that hover to the side of the images on the front page could do with maybe a shadow or border just to separate them a bit as it's making my eyes go a bit weird!

Some of the "News & Events" blocks need to be formatted properly, some have lots of whitespace etc.

Looks very modern and fresh. Clean and well spaced. Information easy to find and easy to navigate. I like it.

A few things:

Images could be optimised better - 100k+ for the IWF member logo for example seems a bit high.

The News and Events page seems a little spacious and a little inelegant - large white space gaps under the image for each post. Random white space at the end of the top news item. Needs a stricter limit on the amount of info shown for each article on that page, with the rest being available via the more button. Also, the images could do with being a single uniform size so as to not look out of place/more of a design than a random image.

The resources page is a little sparse. I'd have a little more blurb for each download item, and have all 3 of the existing items on the same line just with their title in text underneath or something similar - like the newsletters page.

The videos on the site were all blocked here, as youtube is a whitelist for us. This is likely the case for other schools. Might be worth hosting the videos yourselves instead.

The Network Security page image banner seems a little out of place, stylistically, when compared to the rest of the site (the Fortinet logo with a white bit on a grey background doesn't look very good). It doesn't span the entire content section either leaving a bit of white space to the right which looks odd.

On each of the primary/secondary/sen schools type pages the white/coloured boxes with fortinet/lightspeed etc... need some padding between them and their accompanying text, as the text touches the image at the moment.

Hope that lot helps! Just what I saw from a quick look through.

That's what I thought too. Although, the above comments still stand, it is a VERY clean layout
