Hi all,

Have anyone by any chance devised a script or similar that will give some kind of print out with number of print copies sent to a printer?

We have PaperCut up at our school, but with such a small school I wonder if anyone has already solved this in a similar situation? Maybe a script that looks at print logs and does a count per username?

Many thanks in advance!!

PaperCut can be trialled for 40 days free by the way. Worth its money I think.

Hi MatthewL,

Totally agree! We have been running it for around 8 years. But for 1 printer and 5 staff its possibly a little overkill!

Cheers

Papercut is great, only cost is around £350 and if you buy it around November then the next update (usually January) is free. It's a one off cost unless you want updated versions. We use it and works very well with iPad deployments and gives the ability to hold prints for them :)
