cdgill241183 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Any good free alternatives that people use apart from print manager plus? Cheers Chris
plexer Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Papercut is probably the better of the paid for solutions. Ben
TheScarfedOne Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Agreed, Paper cut is pretty good. Well worth paying for upgrade protection too
nicholab Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Anyone used print management in Impero? Is it any good?
fiza Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 This has been around for a while now but I haven't tried it. Might be worth a punt. Fitosoft – Print Management Software » Free Software
weathmatth Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Papercut is pretty good, ive also used Equitrac which is a print managment tool from Ricoh
mrbios Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Obviously you said free, but i like to steer people away from this in every print management thread: avoid uniflow. Utter tripe that I'm stuck with because of other peoples poor decisions.
Edu-IT Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Anyone used print management in Impero? Is it any good? I don't think it's really advanced enough in comparison to other products. It's a feature of Impero, but I don't think it's the best for the job. If you have budget for the likes of PaperCut then I'd say they're the leader on this. If you want a simple print credit system, then the likes of Impero would be fine.
Tallwood_6 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Equitac is good you can automate so much you can just set and forget, it's not a ricoh product they just seem to use it over papercut in most installs, it's actually owned by nuance.
