.Net 4.5.2 and new release of SIMS.net - breaks :(

Morning,

I have rolled out .Net 4.5.2 school wide, the same night Sims did a upgrade

Now im getting a error on Sims "Sims requires .Net 4.0 please install" although .net 4.5.2 is installed,

Iv installed 4.5.2 as Target Tracker requires it.

I have removed and reinstalled .net and it resolves the issues until the machine is turned off

I have run a repair on .net and again works until machine is turned off and back on

The strange thing is it works with a restart but breaks when the machine is turned off..........

I have made sure nothing is deployed on start-up

Now this is not a site issue as it's happened at two sites

Please help as both schools are unable to take registers

it was the Autumn 2014 release - I have just been told there is another release on the 12th of Autumn 2014 2 - where is the notification of the withdraw?

Is this just a one off problem, seen only by the OP or is it a case that the Autumn update will not work if dot net 4.5.2 is installed? Can anyone with both installed confirm that they do work together? I don't want to install the SIMS update next week and find we lose SIMS all together.

Heres what I got from Capita:

Currently SIMS .net does not utilise any of the new features included within .NET Framework 4.5 or 4.5.1 and therefore does not necessarily require either of these versions to be installed on a workstation or server.

However on a Windows 8, 8.1, Server 2012 or a 2012 R2 machine where 4.5 or 4.5.1 are pre-installed as a feature, these versions of .NET Framework are backwards compatible and will work with .NET Framework 4.0 applications (such as SIMS .net).

Important Note: Some customers might encounter an issue with logging in to SIMS .net or FMS after upgrading to MS .NET Framework 4.5.1 or after applying an update for it. This is currently being investigated,
