newpersn Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Garacesh;1250075]Wut? Explain? [ATTACH=CONFIG]27751[/ATTACH You can see the deals that start.
Tesla Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Amazon have timed offers, and they roll out new ones every 10 minutes, that particular offer starts at 11:40.
Garacesh Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Ah, right. Cool! I didn't see anything on the linked page that mentioned it. Still, £300 for a 1TB SSD isn't too bad a price in of itself..
JJonas Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 also be on time, be quick and be logged in. I watched something sell out in 15 seconds yesterday.
Sunnyknight Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Personally... if you go 1yb for an ssd... go pcie. My 2 pence.

localzuk Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 English? If you're going to buy a 1TB SSD, buy a PCI-E model, and not a SATA3 model. 1
mrbios Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) If you're going to buy a 1TB SSD, buy a PCI-E model, and not a SATA3 model. Why? and do you mean the dedicated PCI-E cards such as the OCZ Revo and Gskill devices which cost 3x as much, or the m.2 devices which for PCI-E still cost twice as much? The latter appears to require the expensive X99 chipset boards, else you can only use the SATA variety, the former is ridiculously expensive for 1TB and doesn't actually perform as well as the figures would suggest in terms of OS performance. In an ideal world we'd be best off waiting for the m.2 10GB/s ports to become more mainstream along with cheaper M.2 PCI-E storage, else we're always going to be restricted to the 550/mbs top end SSDs we have available at the moment, but to be honest the performance is still going to be fantastic. EDIT: Bah, ocuk have just confirmed they won't be able to get any more of the 480GB Intel 730 SSDs for the £100 mega offer. Ah well, my two should be with me Monday Edited November 28, 2014 by mrbios
mrbios Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I was just translating... haha sorry i quoted the wrong one
Novalee Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Copying this my post from the other Black Friday thread...didn't see this one which seems the more appropriate home. "Do I need 3 new pairs of trainers? I need the black ones as I don't have any dark trainers...and I love those pale green ones... but now I spotted bright green...I LOVE bright green... If anyone wants a code for DC Shoes - BLACKFRIDAY40 - extra 40% off sale items."

X-13 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I hope so. Order number: 123-1234567-1234567 Totally legit.
Garacesh Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Image won't load for me. I just assumed he'd ordered.
elsiegee40 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 As far as I can work out, it's impossible to get onto many shopping websites today!
X-13 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Image won't load for me. I just assumed he'd ordered. Could have done. But that image looks like an example one. It's bought by "Mr. XYZ" and the order number is sequential.
Sunnyknight Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I can hear your wallet screaming from here! Nice buys though - jealous. Why? and do you mean the dedicated PCI-E cards such as the OCZ Revo and Gskill devices which cost 3x as much, or the m.2 devices which for PCI-E still cost twice as much? EDIT: Bah, ocuk have just confirmed they won't be able to get any more of the 480GB Intel 730 SSDs for the £100 mega offer. Ah well, my two should be with me Monday It was just my 2 pence! Jeez i'll lower it to one pence if needed! If it's me, and im going to go for a high ssd storage, i'd go revo. £700, well, yeah i would. It's more than x2 / x3 faster than a general ssd. Sidenote... My wallet has vanished.... just bought a ps4 with 4 games for £339. (I'm now looking at another TV.... probably 40 inch for my bedroom) OHHHHH THE PAIN! xD
