This will be the third time I will have been to BETT in January but everytime ive been its been a bit of an adventure getting there, as I am basically hopeless with directions.

I am flying down to Stanstead Aiport from Newcastle > can anybody give me some step by step instructions how I get from Stanstead Aiport to Olympia.

Stanstead express to Liverpool street station I remember but the rest is a blur - anybody got any clues :)

Underground from Liverpool St on Circle line to South Kensington

Change on to District Line at South Kensington to Earls Court.

If the weather is nice walk to Olympia if not Underground runs from Earls Court to Olympia.

Hope this helps

Nope, sorry, due to the 1988 Vanaveer debacle you can't finish after Liverpool St has been used until after a zone 3 usage. Back in play ;)

(In other words, dammit you beat me to it!)

Scenic route to enjoy the skyscrapers the city beholds:

Walk from Liv St to Tower Hill then get on the District Line, Westbound and get off at Earls Court. You can either walk or wait for a train for the one stop.

Best way on underground is is either do one of two things you put it travel planner on london undrground website and print it out or do what I do often is go to nearest underground and say to staff member how do i get to so and so and they often go

"get on so and so line chnage at........" and just take notice of first part what line and where need to change and then at that station ask again.

Key here is to have day card so that can you travel with out worrying about tickets..
