synaesthesia Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Something positive for a Monday morning. Requested to have the latest version of Impero released to us on Friday; this was done (late afternoon). Come in this morning and our licence had gone a bit skewy. Emailed Impero at about half 8. 15 minutes later, we get a phone call and 2 minutes on remote; problem fixed. Always nice to get support like that, they've always been excellent for that. Yes it's a lot of money, but worth every penny in our eyes! 3
Fazza Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 When you get good service you continue to be a customer so it makes good business sense to be like this. It's a shame a lot of other companies arent as good at the after sales side of things as if the after sales service is rubbish (especially when you pay an annual subscription for it) then it's unlikely you'll renew. I too have always found Impero's support to be very responsive. Keep up the good work Impero Support! 2
Popular Post jon-senso Posted November 10, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2014 Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Our support guys get a real buzz from positive feedback and make changes if there was to be any negative. Maybe other companies are less responsive because they dont enjoy it, we actually enjoy what we do! 5
Sylv3r Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Couldn't agree more with the comments above. Like everything with IT theres issues, it's down to the how quick the issues are resolved is what I think makes a good company. 1
jb2201 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Always had great support from Impero with both upgrading to new versions and resolving issues, speedy and effective always. A few other well known companies need to take a leaf or two from your book in my opinion! 1
timbo343 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 i had the same issue with the upgrade but i had to do was: Stop the Impero Server Service Navigate to C:\program files (x86)\impero solutions ltd\impero server\data Delete 'License.xml' and 'License.xmlx' Start the Impero Server Service They were ever so helpful especially when i was upto my eyes in trying to move a Sophos Server to a new VM. 1
synaesthesia Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 Yup, that's exactly the issue we had and did those exact steps to resolve it. Took merely moments and the chap couldn't have been any clearer or more helpful. 1
speckytecky Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Yes I totally agree. Imp hero support sets the standard for others to follow. Some real top technical experts on that team who just come across as loving their job. Well done Impero. Something positive for a Monday morning. Ex-MGSTech Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 recently had a huge problem with upgrading from 4.1.17 to 4.1.26, eventually rolled one LAN back to 4.1.17 all done by remote by impero.... Still happy! 1
WithoutMotive Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Another thumbs up for Impero Support here. A good product backed up by good support equals a great product. I've often rejected perfectly good products which have had appalling support. Keep up the fantastic work! 1
