The Note 4 was on my wishlist, having had a Note 2 since they came out and being very happy with it. I did go a different way in the end (largely due to a huge price difference) but people I know who've bought the Note 4 have been very happy with it.

I would quite like a new one now because my oneplus one is driving me crazy with it's inability to hold a 3G connection!! Though I do like the look of the Nexus 6 I don't know whether it would be worth the wait!!

Reallllly? If you're looking to get rid of a OnePlus One I could do with a spare. ;)

If that was the choice that I had, I'd get the Nexus. I don't trust Samsung to keep devices up to date plus TouchWiz drives me nuts. Plus the replication of services, multiple music stores, multiple app stores, a duplicate Samsung app for every Google one... bugger that.

The only reason to get a Note is for the stylus, if that's important to you get the Note obviously!

If nothing else, updates would decide it for me. The Nexus would not only get them sooner, but for longer - my Nexus 4 is still officially supported, for example. I believe the only reason the Galaxy Nexus is unsupported now is the lack of driver support now that TI have withdrawn from the SoC market.

Given how much of a target Android is, security updates isn't a minor consideration.

(Also TouchWiz slows everything down horribly.)
