Got promoted today

Hi all, just wanted to let you guys know that I got promoted to ICT Systems manager today, more pay is always welcome. Had to interview for the post with the Head/Chair of Govs/Ass Head, which I found amusing, especially when the CoG we'll talk to the other applicants (was just me).

 

Couldn't of done it without the support found on edugeek, it's solved a fair few problems looking through past posts.

Thanks all, having overview of the attendance system it seems (our current attendance officer doesn't do enough, I think we are going to reshuffle some stuff so she can focus on inclusion and dealing with LA services), we use Go4Schools for attendance now, and lesson attendance, and because it is a website it falls under IT for monitoring. Got reprographics and consumables assigned to me as well now as well. Hmm what else, I'm sure there's more on the way now.

The "because it's a website it belongs to IT" thing sucks and is far too common. It's attendance so it belongs to the attendance officer.

 

I also managed reprographics when i started my current job but it was moved to the exams and data Manager in the latest reshuffle because "he does the most printing" hehe...

Been on the cards for 6 months now since my boss got the assistant head job. The business manager passed away at the start of term and he had to take on Finance as well, which made the need to offload the IT side of things
