connor_ict Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I have a Stone netbook and the cursor is moving by itself, and when the touchpad is used the mouse moves erratically, there is no updated drivers to install for the touchpad What else can I do to Fix the problem??????
Stone_Charli Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Hi @connor_ict I've just spoken to our mobile product manager, who agreed the problem is likely to be the driver. He suggested you try our driver finder to double check for any updated drivers: Driver Finder | Support | Stone Group Failing this, give Support a call on 08448 80 23 66 and have your serial number handy. If your driver can't be updated they may be able to arrange for a replacement touch pad or repair for your device. Hope this helps!
Oaktech Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I had a whole batch of Acer 5520g (don't ask, they weren't my choice) that did this. Removing the specific alps driver and rolling back to a standard windows mouse driver cured the worst of it.
