Dear all,

We are using MyPC web based computer booking solution which provides complete control over shared computer resource usage but we are not happy with the product and service so I am looking for replacement. Is there any free software available which does the same job?

Many thanks for your help..

Hi itssemi

I have an open source project called Classroombookings which might be suitable for you. It's a bit old now - and lacks a lot of features I'd class as "essential" these days and might not be up to the same standard as other competitors - but still has a good number of schools using it. It needs a web server, PHP and MySQL.

Craig.

We use this: Room Booking System - Online Room Booking Software

Not free, but couldn't recommend it highly enough. Integration with SIMS is perfect and saves so much time on administration.

All setup linked to our AD, so staff logon using their network details and only have access to the resources allocated to them - flexibility in providing the ability for staff to add, amend, delete their own bookings plus useful for reporting purposes.

Agreed. Been using it for a few years now and it's been great. There is a link to SIMS coming soon apparently which will eliminate the need for manual imports

It pulls the data from SIMS now automatically as a schedule.

We've had fully automatic SIMS integration for a couple years now. Please PM me or contact support if you'd like it added to your system. More details on page 4 in our brochure.
