Sorry if I'm stepping on anyone's toes with this thread, but I wanted to compile all of the download links into one thread and post rather than having people trawling multiple threads to find something.

If anyone feels something is missing please let me know and I'll add it.

Big thanks to @Arthur for his work.

You can read about build 9860 on Microsoft's Windows Blog.

  • One of your top suggestions really made an impact on our designs for the taskbar. With 9879 you can now hide the Search or Task View buttons on the taskbar. Just right-click on the taskbar and uncheck the check boxes for whichever button you want to hide.

Good grief! They are actually listening to people! :eek2:

Hi, thanks for sharing this.

I've installed RSAT for Windows 10 but it doesn't appear in the Windows Features or Admin Tools, but the update installed successfully.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

RSAT is not available for en-gb versions,

only en-us versions of the media work with RSAT which I had to revert to using

You also don't need to add it from windows features it automatically adds to administrative tools

Oui but no enterprise build yet :( (So RSAT won't install)

In a way, that's a blessing for me. Just finished a fresh install of Win10 9226 ENT (last install was playing up, this still has problems) and wasn't looking forward to starting from scratch just yet.

Well, you can upgrade to the latest ent build from 9226 but there's no ISO yet.

I need to do a fresh install, my installation is so screwed up it won't auto upgrade

I have the same problem (won't update - though it does find needed updates), even on a fresh install - hence the need for the ISO.

I have the same problem

It's possible to install the Enterprise edition from the Pro ISO for build 10041.

http://model-technology.com/generate-windows-10-enterprise-installation-windows-10-pro

At this point I could have given up and waited until Microsoft released an ISO of 10041 Enterprise but I don't like to wait so I downloaded the 10041 Pro ISO from the Windows Insider web site and then extracted out the ISO to a folder on my machine. I then performed the following steps:

  1. Mounted the install.wim with mount-windowsimage to c:\mount
  2. Ran the command Set-WindowsEdition -path c:\mount -Edition Enterprise
  3. Ran dismount-windowsimage c:\mount -save

Now I have 10041 Enterprise installation files! From there I just ran setup.exe and successfully upgraded my machine to 10041!

Should be

Mount-WindowsImage –ImagePath path to .WIM –Index 1 –Path c:\mount

NOTE - you should have extract the ISO to a folder so you can reference where the .WIM file is!
