DCUK6 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Hi, I used to know of a bit of software that when you booted it used to check all the hardware in your machine and report back if anything was found. I cant for the life of me remember what its called now. It wasn't cheap but im thinking of buying a personal licence for it. Any ideas of this product or anything similar?
Oaktech Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Eurosoft PC Check... Pc-Check Diagnostic Software 1
DCUK6 Posted October 4, 2014 Author Posted October 4, 2014 Can't remember it being that but that looks like it can do what I want. Thanks.
ZeroNeg Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I think sisoft sandra was a similar program. It had loads of reports and checks that could be run on all the diffrent components.
Dos_Box Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I think sisoft sandra was a similar program. It had loads of reports and checks that could be run on all the diffrent components. That's a name I've not heard in a very long time
ZeroNeg Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Yep it is an old one. Use to play around with it when i first started building PC's many moons ago.
DCUK6 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 it might have been pc-doctor. So long ago that im not sure now.
rich_tech Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I believe the Stone engineer out recently to our site was using the Eurosoft PC-Check program, seemed very impressive when it was going through everything on my PC after a mobo change.
Oaktech Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 @Dan_ATR used to work for eurosoft and swears by pc-check, rather than at it, like he does with most other programs
plexer Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Used pc check for years pxe boot the ISO using mdt and syslinux. Ben
Dan_ATR Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 PC Check is the dogs... Phone up Eurosoft and talk to either Gary or Simon for a price and I'm sure they will sort you out. I believe it comes with one years support and product upgrade. Iv not seen the latest version but I might go and have a peek some time as im after my reference still
mac_shinobi Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Burn in by passmark ?? http://www.passmark.com/products/bit.htm
Dan_ATR Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 That's not that good. Eurosoft do hardware diagnostic software in most of the world for PCs etc... which eventually end up on your desk at home or at work. PC-Check is the best, so is PC-builder and QA-Win32.
