On etip though OS X should always verify the disc before an installation. Maybe you could check the disc in another machine to see if there is a problem with the disc.

If so then you may be entitiled to an exchange.

LOL! Didn't know you could get an exchange from torrent sites!

Could be fun going to Trading Standards and explaining it to them

Having looked at this thread it probably is a illegal download (as he never denied it) but the question was how to burn dmg. If he had titled it as such and not mentioned leopard was the contents then no one would know/cared.

We dont condone any illegal use/gain from this site so please do not post what could be seen as illegal again thegrassisgreener, instead think about what you need to know and ask about that. Your title should have been "How do I burn a bootable dmg file to disc in OSX" for example as at least that would not have implied you had a ripped copy of OSX.

He would be the only one I've seen on this forum to ask a question without any attempt to hide the fact that it's illegally obtained software and then try and use 'geek' as an insult...

...I'm not even getting into his dreadful use of CAPS or starting multiple threads...

thegrassisgreener - your attitude is not what I'd expect from someone working in ICT in education. In fact, I wouldn't expect that attitude from any of the kids! CAPS is immature shouting, as is name calling.

PLEASE DO NOT POST ANYTHING UNLESS IT IS A SOLUTION OR ADVICE ON THE PROBLEM ABOVE cheers
