Which multi port charger

Looking for any recommendations for multi port usb chargers for home.

 

I've seen these two.

Not sure about the Bolse but I do have the 40w Anker one you linked to above and works great with iPad / Samsung Galaxy S4 / iPhone 5S without any issues

I was thinking that myself, probably won't be charging all devices at all times and with 5 ports I can label them so each household member has their own port and is not allowed to use someone else's

With the deal on the white it's more like save a tenner for 2 less ports or spend a fiver and get 2 thus having 3 more ports than the Bolse one

Another vote for the Anker one..

 

Brought one for my brother and he gets on fine with it. Was contacted by their team as to why I purchased it, never usually fill these in, however I replied and said because I've heard good reviews and that the company shares the same name as my Surname! Unfortunately didn't get any freebs

However, that Anker model you linked to above looks pretty good, and at only a few pounds more I'm tempted to get some of those.

Looks more compact (but lacking a bit in power compared to the Anker) but I think the fact that I can change cables on the Anker rather than use an adapter when we go abroad will be useful. I did the same with my camera battery charger last year in America. Bought a £2 US plug to figure of eight and off it went (being that it could do 110/230/240). I've got a European figure of eight as well which just lives in the suitcase.

 

I've been thinking about the portable power devices too - handy for a day trip out (bett for example). Anker still a good option for that - anyone?

Based on the reviews, I've also just gone with the Anker 40w charger listed above. Ordered it yesterday with the HUKD code posted, although it also worked for the black version yesterday.

 

Amazon says it will be delivered today, not bad for "Free Super Saver Delivery"!

 

Edit: Just checked, looks like the code has expired for the white version now too.

I've got a 10,000mAh anker battery which I manage to get about 4 charges out of on my iphone 5s and also have one of those desk chargers which I use to charge my battery, both work really well

Anker do seem to be the top brand for this sort of thing. I've got the black 5 port and this portable and they're both great. Also got a pack of charge only USB/Micro leads to go with.

 

Something I carry in my work bag is this adapter which allows be to plug my phone into any USB port and not worry about it showing up as a device or trying to set up sync. Got one of these at home to help keep the desk tidier, but £10 is a bit steep as it really needs to be a bit heavier:

I was just about to say , if you can't see a price then you can't afford it. Yeah £205 + VAT is way too much for an 8 port USB Charger lol
