Thanks all

elsiegee40 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 The vast majority of our cars have never had a tray... including both our current ones. The only one that I can remember having a tray was our Laguna in the 1990s. It is definitely not required... and probably was never fitted in the first place.
cpjitservices Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Thanks for that advice everyone....I just wanted to sort of throw it out there and see what anyone else had experience with... I know not all cars have them but mine was designed to have one so ya never know. Thanks all....much appreciated.
jonawd Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I shouldn't think it would be an issue as the under tray is essentially just 'trim' anyway in most cases.
MrMat Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Definitely not! I ran my old car without an under-tray for a few years and it flew through MOT's (I took mine off intentionally as it was dragging on the floor).

SpuffMonkey Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Mine passed its MOT today with no major work...phew!
DanTheLacky Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I put mine in last Monday, 0 fails 0 advisories! First time any of my cars haven't failed on something haha.
Gibbo Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Took mine off years ago because it was a pain to remove and refit when I wanted to do an oil change.
cpjitservices Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Thanks for all the replies all. Have a nice day all.
