Marshall_IT Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Hi, After the summer upgrade myself and my colleague can open the TTT file in Nova T6 fine, however one of our AH cannot and it tells him to upgrade from version 629 to 630. We didn't have to do anything differently than i have done for him so i'm a bit confused and i can find anything on support.net. any help greatly appreciated as always.
nickbro Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 You can try copying the NT6.exe file from your sims install to his
MrMat Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 You will need to run the NovaSatelliteSetup.exe on the local machine I believe. Are you using SOLUS3 by any chance?
round2it Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Nice chap at capita sent me the latest installer contact them
Marshall_IT Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Thanks everyone! First day back after 2 weeks off and having a slow day!
JoeFulford Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I'm having this problem here. I've spoke to our SIMS support and they can't seem to help us at the moment. They need to ask other places and then get back to us. I am using SOLUS3 if that helps anyone.
winng Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I've just got the same issue at one school. Currently on 630 but should be on 631. We're on Solus3 too. I've redeployed SIMS to see if that helps.
Mark182 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Anyone any look with this? Just reimaged a desktop, tried to load NovaT and get ' SNOVA directory not found' deploying using Solus3
Mark182 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Ah, sorted it needed to edit Sims.ini and add in NovaSatellite=C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\SATS Simsdirectory=S:\Sims
coolhands Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Old thread but replying as might help someone (probably me on the future). Had this said file saved with version 641and you are currently running 640. So wouldn’t upload the file. In our case this was using Remote Desktop to connect with the virtual server, not a satellite installation. Checked server and sims and novat were correctly updated with summer release. Problem turned out to be the R drive was not loaded so it couldn’t find the sims.ini (I think). IT guy had to restate the drives. So check the sims drive is loaded / visible we hadn’t noticed that for some reason it wasn’t there and caused this problem.
