Appropriate game maker version (free) for windows 7 PCs

Hi

I am building a windows7 image and this will be master image and I want to install Game maker. Please let me know a appropriate Free version that can be installed for a secondary school .

Any one managed to get this software working under restricted student logons.

Kodu Games Lab?

Kodu is great, but REALLY HUNGRY. It doesn't really run on anything less than a 4gb i3. Our 2gb core 2 duos are unusable with it. We are using scratch with far more success.

We have it running under restricted logins by giving the students Full control over the regkey that game maker needs.
