CESIL Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Hi All I am having trouble remembering the name of a PC game that I played a bit probably in the early 90's. It was very dark and moody and in 2D with some pseudo 3D elements. Near the start you had to break a barrier to empty a cave of water to stop a waterfall that blocked progress. There was a tricky running jump that had to be made to avoid being killed by the water. I also remember a cave with stalagtites that you had to avoid. At the time the graphics and gameply were considered to be pretty amazing... Does anyone here have any idea what the game was called?
PeterW Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Its the awesome another world!!!! Well worth buying for your smart phone or pc, Another World
PeterW Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Flashback was also another great game! Indeed shame they did a Playstation follow up called fade to black which wasent much cop.
CESIL Posted November 8, 2007 Author Report Posted November 8, 2007 Thanks Peter I just couldn't get the name... Funny thing is, the name I was struggling was nothing like Another World
Oops_my_bad Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 I remember flashback - how cool was that game? But I mainly remember jumping through all the hoops just so it would run on an Amiga 1200
