Anyone recommend a projector mount.

Hi all,

 

After using many different mounts over the years and not being happy with most of them I am looking for recommendations for a new one to try.

 

I was originally after a clamp/grip style mount rather than the spider type, but I can not seem to find any for love nor money.

 

 

Any suggestions.

Unicol do excellent ones but they are not universal, made specifically for the model of projector.

 

That said Epson haven't changed their mounting screw position for years so we have schools with Unicol mounts put in years ago that work with the latest EB-X20.

I standardised on Sahara generic projector mounts, they were about £30 a kit, including ceiling plate, 1M column and projector bracket.

Most places sold them, at a time CPC had some generic ones that were the exact same thing just in a different box

^ We're all Sahara. Only fault with them is the Casios are slightly awkward to get straight but every other projector has been fine.

Always found those plates a pain, end up cutting bits out and filing to make the hole wider to get it straight! New Epson projectors like the EB-20 it's not so much a hassle, but I like them straight in the first place!

You know they include bits to allow them to be twiddled on fitment for the screws. They are in the fitting kit and they are a bit O>o like shaped item and one end is threaded so you can just screw that to the baseplate and then spin it round to any angle required to get the casio straight, we didn't have any issues when we used them you can wiggle it around fine.

And can you find them 3 years later when you change the projector.....no!!!!
