Hello,

I just downloaded the R2 ISO from the volume licensing website, burned it to a disc and am attempting to install it on a laptop.

This is only temporarily so we can trial the OS.

The problem is, it loads the disc and then says 'Load Driver'.

'No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK.'

Tried burning a new disc and still the same problem, any ideas?

Find the storage drivers for your hardware and then click load drivers and point it to a usb pen with the drivers on, load the drivers and away you go - you should be able to use 64bit windows 8 drivers if its a laptop.

I can't find the drivers unfortunately, any other help? Haha!

not ideal but you could probably change the hdd mode from ahci to ide (or whatever that particular pc calls it) in bios it will probably install then. Also if its new enough disabling secure boot and uefi might help

How much Ram in the machine and how much are you allocating to the VM?

2560MB

I only have 4GB on my machine and I can't really give it much more!

Reason your getting this error is because you need the drivers for the raid controller on the server. If your not sure what the raid controller is boot it up and it should tell you in the boot process. Then use google to find the driver.
