Hi guys,

This is my first post on edugeek, so I apologise if this topic has been bought up in the forums previously!

Was just wondering who peoples preferred suppliers are for projector lamps? One of our projectors is due for a replacement and I would like to try and beat our suppliers price.

One of the cheapest original lamps I have found so far is from Projector Lamp Source UK has anyone dealt with this company before? Wasn't too sure about them due to the lack of reviews....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :p

Don't use them! You might be alright but I have found them unreliable, long waits and sometimes orders not arriving and bad support. I would recommend Wallis Uk. Cheap prices and great support if things go wrong, plus a couple of free chocolate bars in every order. If that doesn't seal the deal I don't know what will.

That's great thanks for the info, will definitely take a look into them! :thumb: I'm currently working as a techie for a small infant school at the minute. It's my first proper job in the industry since graduating - was quite daunting at first but am gradually starting to get the hang of things :)

Hey, welcome to the forum and world of tech :)

I'd say if you can, look into LED projectors. They are less maintenance and a plus with approx 20,000 hours bulb life. Worth it in the long run, especially as lamp projectors tend to develop problems after a while and will most likely require some form of servicing (internal/ external clean).
