Powerman PC - Cost??

Hi, im looking in to implementing a power management solution in our school and have seen Powerman PC - Can anyone tell me the rough cost of this before I go down the route of trialling it - I know it depends on PCs (we have roughly 450) but is the cost thousands or hundreds?

Impero will do power management too, so you could consider that as well. Network management software for organisations everywhere

For Impero I got quote £2,000 for 100 computers but that was after some knocking down...and yearly support was around £900 first year free of course..

Have you looked into doing it via Group Policy?

I'm sure PowerMAN was about £5 per pc.

You can buy it on a yearly subscription. Might work out more cost effective as it does more than power management.

Yes I have thought about doing it this way if nothing suitable comes up

I have a scheduled task to run at 19:00 everyday which runs shutdown.exe /f pushed via GPO. Simple and works a treat! Get PowerMAN if you want reports etc but no need for software.
