rush_tech Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 May go and see it this weekend, do you need to have seen the first one for it to make sense?
ZeroHour Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Very much doubt it, its on Amazon Prime and possibly still on Netflix.
featured_spectre Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 First one tells you about how captain America came to be....avengers follows up on him changing and adapting to the new world...this one follows up after avengers. 1
MrMat Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Spoiler Alert!!! (First film described below!!) The year is 1942. There lives a man who goes by the name of Steve Rogers. Steve is a small man. He cannot get into the Military because of his teeny tinyness. Crazy scientist man makes drug that will make people hench. Crazy man likes Steve's spirit so gives him drug. Steve gets hench and puts on lycra. The silly Americans market Steve as Captain America! American hero etc etc. Red faced Nazi man has magical thing called the Tesseract (if you've seen The Avengers you will know about this thing). Captain America beats up said Nazi's. Captain America crashes big ass plane into the Arctic ocean. Gets frozen. Gets woken up 70 years later by Samuel L Jackson n his homies. So now you know...
rush_tech Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 First one tells you about how captain America came to be....avengers follows up on him changing and adapting to the new world...this one follows up after avengers. Ok maybe I need to watch those 2 first then!
ZeroHour Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Ok maybe I need to watch those 2 first then! Tbh I would watch the avengers anyway, its pretty epic but the first Captain America film was junk, I really doubt you would need to know anything to benefit much in the second.
featured_spectre Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 The only thing is the serum...many people just don't understand captain America and how he is in the position he is in because of the serum. First film wasn't great I agree, but explains him and red skull...who is apparently making a come back in avengers 2
Bompalompalomp Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I saw this on Friday. Probably my favourite MCU movie yet. I can't think of a single substantial complaint. HAIL HYDRA!
rich_tech Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I want to see it too, Mrs wont entertain it though :/ I am so chuffed they started making films out of Marvel Superheroes though, years I thought things like X-Men/Avengers would rock if they were films, think it took long time though for CG stuff to catch up.
DrPerceptron Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I am pretty certain you need to see the first film in order for it to make sense...
rickjames Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Yeah, seeing the first one is kind of essential. I enjoyed this film.
Simcfc73 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 As we break up today I am going tomorrow through the day, should be lovely and quiet with no kids.
SHimmer45 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 saw this last night enjoyed it once it got going, as usual they leave it opened ended so if they want to add extra films they can imo. havent some of the actors signed up for long term contracts as well?
rickjames Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Chris Evans is doing the Avengers film then another CA film, and that'll be him done.
Simcfc73 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Tis very good, really enjoyed it with excellent action scene... Miss Johannson is beyond sexy in it, worth the rip off cinema fee (new film from her... looks good and its a Besson) Edited April 3, 2014 by Simcfc73
