Changes to Frog in the last 4 Years

It has been around 4 years since I used frog at my last school.

 

Does anyone have any insights into the changes to it in that time ?

 

(I have a feeling the subject of VLE's will be raising it's head here soon)

Have a look at their website, they are now promoting a 'new' vle called Frog Learn and Frog Play (formally FrogOS).

Thanks, I did take a look at their site but I was wondering if anyone had any first hand insights to offer.

I went to a Frog sales day last year. Looked like they had been doing a lot of development which surprised me. I think they managed to get a massive push into Malaysia (something like every school gave every child a Google tablet running Frog) & used the money to spruce it up / develop new features. It did look top notch but it costs.

 

Too rich for us. I think Moodle meets our needs right now.

After a meet-share-learn Frog day a month ago, I was convinced. We're gearing up to switch in September. It's not perfect, but it's closer than before and Frog 3 has never been perfect.
