LosOjos Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) I've noticed lately a few people (myself included) are having their messages double posted, with both posts happening in the same post seperated by this: - - - Updated - - - Seems to have started around the time the mobile apps went live (though it hasn't happened to me in the mobile app itself) Edited March 28, 2014 by ZeroHour
Rawns Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) I was about to make a post on this too. I get the same issue in some threads, but I also get e-mails about evey single update too. The latest example: Dear Rawns, andrew_91090 has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - [News] prince Phillip does it again! - in the Jokes/Interweb Things forum of EduGeek.net. This thread is located at: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/jokes-interweb-things/109185-prince-phillip-does-again-new-post.html Here is the message that has just been posted: ****************************** I think he is a legend, he is just like a grandparent that doesn't quite know what their saying is bad so they say it anyway, love it - - - Updated - - - I think he is a legend, he is just like a grandparent that doesn't quite know what their saying is bad so they say it anyway, love it ****************************** Dear Rawns, andrew_91090 has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - [News] prince Phillip does it again! - in the Jokes/Interweb Things forum of EduGeek.net. ZeroHour Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) Hmm cant recreate it yet. Does this happen when posting a new thread, replying via quick reply box at the bottom or doing a full post reply? Edited March 14, 2014 by ZeroHour
Steve21 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hmm cant recreate it yet. Does this happen when posting a new thread, replying via quick reply box at the bottom or doing a full post reply? Quick reply for me. Steve

Steve21 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 And on the above reply - This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 29 seconds. lol Steve

6Foot2 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 This hasn't happened for me yet: Browser: Chrome. Posted via Quick Reply.
ZeroHour Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 try editing it, does it save? It does save I think but it doesnt seem to submit correctly, I have disabled quick edit and a few other things for now until I can recreate the issue.
sparkeh Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Not sure if this is related, but quite often when I post a reply it shows up twice (like a double post), if I refresh the page then it goes away. Occasionally I see other user's replies as double posts which disappear if I refresh the page.
ZeroHour Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 @ZeroHour, eduhobnob? =] More like EduDram for me 1
hawc Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Sometimes when I post and reload the post still appears in the Quick Reply box, even when I click Post Quick Reply. Reload again and my post appears. Latest version of Opera on 8.1
ZeroHour Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 This problem may be occurring again since I changed options to fix attachment issues. Working on it although I have never had the issue so far.
witch Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Got a double post this morning in the youtube thread
kearton Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I was having this problem last night using Chrome (v33.something)
LosOjos Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Just started happening to me today - it's happened intermittently in the past but as of today it's happening with every post - sorry @ZeroHour! Using Chrome BTW.
sonofsanta Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) Happening for me on FF28 (i.e. up to date) using the quick reply box more or less everywhere. EDIT: though not here, of course. Happened for this post, though, and another this morning that I can't remember. Edited March 21, 2014 by sonofsanta
