I've been trying to find the music without the words but with no luck so far - I'd like to give it a go

I could solo the first bit up to "in short", which would be in full chorus. Then a female voice takes over until the next "in short" (chorus again). Maybe after that we could have others (of whatever gender) alternating in two-line bursts until the final chorus?

Although that does leave me with the "castration" line, doesn't it?

I'm OK with that but I do think that each voice needs to sing the whole section - two lines will be a bit "bitty" I think

Yes, I must admit I feel the same way about my own, ah... equivalents...

 

Could always swap round so you do the first verse, I'm easy.

 

With the vocal arrangements coming together, I guess the next step is whether we go for instrumental accompaniment or a backing track.

It hasn't thus far... although, as I've now left education (at least for the time being), it would be nice to get together with people for a performance or two, for the nostalgia factor if nothing else... =]
