agarabaghi Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 the only thing i can think of is that your files are getting a different extension. try going to tools in the folder directory, view, and un check hide extensions for known file types... that will show u if there is an extension other than .config or .properties
free780 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 It took me a while for deployment.config to point to deployment.properties . We just use gpp to reference a local deployment.properties also pushed out through gpp.
agarabaghi Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 anyone been able to point the excpetions.sites list to an http address... Our macs are not on the domain so they do not see the domain path like the pc did. We moved the file to http://schoolurl.edu/it/files/exceptions.sites and i cant view it, but it does not populate the list
peachie Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) hi, I have followed the advise everyone has kindly given to create the exceptions site in the windows folder rather that the local low. I have created and run a script that will place the 3 required folder on to every pc, HOWEVER i cant deploy them cause I can't get the website I want acces to to access the configuration folder. I attach a screen shot of the error. I have tried various numbers of \\ // and :: ' s in the folder path in the config file but everytme i get this message. Anybody any ideas what i am doing wrong? I created the config file in notepad and saved as 'all files' as a .config file. Thanks Edited June 12, 2014 by peachie
free780 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Try this, these are mine that work. With GPP being used to place the files on the local pc. ipatel Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 ADMaster's solution fixed the issue for me. We were having issues running Banner. Now banner runs with the latest version of Java after i added the exception in the whitelist. Thank you very much for the solution.
