While having a good overall level of health can improve one's resistance to disease, whether or not you are infected with flu, say, has very little to do with whether or not you 'think healthy'.

There is a horrible virus going around this school just now, sore heads that last days and generally feeling lethargic. Mine started on Monday :-(

wish it was that simple ;-)

 

@localsuk - I've been the same. I've had a nearly constant cold since September, with a horrible bout of sinusitis in November that stopped me driving for a week. Some weeks the cold eases off, but always lingers around. This latest thing is by far the worst though!

Inevitably I have it now, hope it's not this thing that lasts for months...!

 

I shall be retiring to the sofa with a supply of Lemsip Max for the weekend.

Bah, my kids have brought a cold back from school. My turn now and it promises to be a nice chesty cough.

Saying that, ever since summer ended I've been catching pretty much everything going. Glad I had a good summer though :)

As I've posted before, Support Staff here lose the first two days pay of any sick leave. Colds and URTI's tend to bounce around from person to person for ages because of this.
