Windows licencing

[beancole]

I am looking to buy licences outright for office and windows 7 but keep getting wild quotes sting I must pay every 2 years for software assurance etc.

I just want to buy some licences please can someone advise me.

Were in a strange situation as I would normally just get a subscription and pay per staff member but we have nearly as many staff members as students as were a special school.

You need to look at Select or Open licensing. Perpetual, per machine licenses can be bought on those or could be when I last looked anyway. Speak to someone from Ramesys, Phoenix or Pugh, they should be able to help you out.

Windows licenses can only be bought as upgrades, you need to make sure that any PC you buy comes with a license for an OS
