Recommend me a good B/W laser printer for IT classroom

Hi

 

As the title says anyone recommend a good black and white laser printer that wont cost too much but that we wont need to replace toners on it every other week. Ideally something with a toner larger than 10000 pages.

Get a Refurb HP LJ42xx or 43xx series from us. 12,000 pages or so in standard cartridge and far more in the high capacity

using kyocera FS3920's here there decent printers, good consumables life, not as good as the old ones.

recent purchased a HP P3015DN and this looks to be a good printer for the money (around £400) not sure on the toner life 30ppm and its not massive

Samsung Ml-3710ND are working well for us, Samsung ML-3710ND Mono Laser Printer (ML-3710ND/SEE) - www.misco.co.uk

 

we just sent back a brand new HP p3015 as it was having phantom paper jams. If I opened up the Toner door and closed it again it continued. Reading up online this seems to be quite common on some modern HP's.

im a big kyocera fan but recent offering dont seem anywhere near as robust.

Only the 4x50s can take high-capacity toner, so I'd go for one of those. The one in the staff IT room (a 4350) hasn't needed to have a toner change since about June, and that thing gets hammered.
