(i am sneakily looking for some inspiration from the masses here )

gshaw Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) Edugeek pizza, worth its weight in gold at the show after a morning of walking around I do need a new mug though (the sillier it looks the better!) as my one met an unfortunate end the other week Aside from that Intel gave out some good stuff on the Stone stand a few years back - the USB desktop charger \ USB hub \ memory card reader was very handy and a clutch of USB sticks always prove useful. I think one of our tech guys managed to get a fair few bags during the week. @gshaw...may be a grumpy cat shaped mug..could such a thing exist i wonder? This is great feedback, thank you.

I took the first notes in a meeting 7th feb 2011 flipped over and using the backs of pages since 23rd may 2012 and still going. The pen died yonks ago though! Pens are good but don't stand out. Little packs of mints are good. Memory sticks or desktop stationery will stay around the longest.

If you're going to use promotional feelies it's important to choose something that your 'targets' will keep around and use (thus keeping your company's details around too!). Anything that's quickly consumable isn't much good, but notepads, memory sticks, calendars, mugs, things like that are a good bet. (I used to run the technical side of a web dev company, we ended up advising people on all sorts of marketing things!)

I still use several I got from BETT including the nifty credit card shaped one from three years ago. Mugs are OK but most of us have too many of the things anyway. Food is good, if transient! Stationery is definitely useful Cuddly toy? - On my shelf I have an HP teddy (courtesy of @bossman) and my lovely Ruckus dog

Have several of each and currently using my MS Technet one for notes . Mugs are a pain to transport, pens and other stationary is great as are (decent sized!) memory sticks. Too many memory sticks I pick up are stupidly small sizes and just end up in the bin now Food and free drinks are always good and encourage me to visit the stand Have got a couple of handcrank LED torches which are useful as freebies before. They stay in my bag for emergencies .
