Photocopiers - printing booklets - Sharp

Or Pamphlets as they are named by Sharp.

 

We have a newish sharp copier - MX7040

 

We are used to being able to reduce A4 documents to print on A5 booklets on Ricoh machines. Really struggling on this print driver though.

 

Has anyone got a similar machine?

Select Pamphlet > 2 Up Pamphlet and then choose your staple position. From an A4 sized document, it should produce A5 sized pages on a folded, stapled A4 SEF (if you have the booklet finisher).

In the print driver you need to select pamphlet style and then in the drop down box below you need to select 2-up pamphlet and obviously select how many staples you want.

 

You will need to load A4R (landscape in tray) for this to work, you may need to select this under paper and then paper source for it to work.

 

I did the same on our 6240 which is the same machine just 8 pages slower the other day, caught be out and I work with Sharp machines everyday, once you have done that you will be fine.

One thing I forget I take it you have a finisher on the machine?
