Why can't the teachers do these; â ã û Ç?

Please help!!

I can do it on my PC by adding extended keyboard, but even logged on as myself on a teachers PC I am unable to produce these characters. rubbish!

Can you not copy and paste from the character map? Alternatively, they could try holding down ALT and typing in the ASCII code:

 

â - 0226

ã - 0227

û - 0251

Ç - 0199

ALT + Code is the bit that isn't working.

It's not the font that you're using is it?

Just noticed it works if I hit "Enter" after the code... Now to test as a teacher
