We have a trolly of ipads which I have now updated to ios7. They are now all requiring me to set a passcode. If I set a passcode and tell the staff/students (is 0000), then I presume some clever student can change the passcode so we are locked out?

We don't need or want a passcode. Is there anyway around this?

I'm using apple configurator.

The one that I upgraded today had an option to not put a passcode in. Does the profile that you have loaded from configurator require a code? Maybe you should have a look through your profile just to check.

If this is on the "setup" screen, there is a button (at the bottom) on the Passcode Screen that says "Continue without a passcode" - Press that and a dialog pops up saying "Are you sure?!" - click Continue.
