I've not disconnected the monitor yet just in case I needed to do a quick shutdown! However the monitor I use is a large 17" crt so my first job will be to change it for a much smaller one still got some 13".

When the ups and server were installed the company didn't install powerchute, so I did but wasn't able to work out how to access the user console to set shutdown times etc. going to study apc website later today to see what the defaults are for the ups, trouble is I'm not in the school that many hours so I just have to do what I can in the time.

Do many others in junior schools run a second domain controller?
