Some of the lovely darlings here have decided to change the printer to print in mirror and negative. I've had a quick look through group policy management but can't find how stop them altering the printer properties. Anyone know how to do this?

We're using XP on a 2003 network and they only have "print" permissions to the printer.

Cheers.

Amazingly they seem to have altered the printer properties on the server, but even so, I'd like them to have no properties ever - even just for that session.

How do you guys do it?

Cheers.

I'll check, but are you guys saying that when a pupil goes to print in your school, they don't have a properties button?

They do, but changes are not kept or propergated to the server

Would also like to remove the print properties button as i have set 2 printers up that are both the same printer, 1 is set to greyscale and the other colour but this one is paused. They have figured out they can alter the properties to make it print in colour.

If it is an HP printer have a look on there site.

They do provide Mono only drivers for some of the Colour laser printers.
