Well after a few emails between me and the Scratch team, their attitude is safety first and if some teenager hijacks anothers account and calls someone names then they feel best way is to block their IP and if that means that the whole of CLEO is blocked - so be it

 

They did suggest that I track down the culprits

 

Really, really need the downloadable 2.0 version to get away from all this

Just found out our teachers are aware of it here, good job we are changing broadband supplier, we manage to get around it.

Use a supplier that gives you your own IP thus when your blocked its your own fault and only your establishment to blame

 

This is a prime example of where using a Proxy is not good as you are all suffering for one silly user somewhere out of thousands of kids

@SimpleSi, pretty much what was mentioned above, we wont be going through the cleo proxy so we won't be punished for some kid at another school.
