jhothersall Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Has anyone else noticed this, luckily its not affecting the clients. The last update was the 28th June on my server.
JezR Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I spoke to oneconnect about this yesterday, they insisted it was my servers, and that other schools were working ok!!! Thank you, its not just me. Jez
Paul_L Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 We submitted a ticket on this yesterday, all our 28 schools are the same, it is a One Connect issue!!
Paul_L Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 28 schools wow !!! thats a lot Paul 33 actually, but only 28 in Lancashire!
Ste_Harve Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Ours is the same, 28/6/2013 error says software delivery failed.
Joanne Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 (edited) One Connect suck... they set up the network when one of my primaries got a new build. Needless to say they made a hash of it and I was rather annoyed that I wasn't consulted about anything they set up. The man who set most of it up was rude and unhelpful ps/ all fine here in BwD. Edited July 3, 2013 by john final comment on the engineer was not appropriate
JezR Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Mine have just updated now. Looks like OneConnect my have seen this thread
jhothersall Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 Mine have just updated now. Looks like OneConnect my have seen this thread It shouldn't be this way, it should just work ...
Roger Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 (edited) As said previously, started failing on Friday the 28th, we raised a log with OneConnect on the Monday at 08:15. We had a call back on Tuesday at 13:15 saying it was fixed, but it wasn`t. As the rest of you say it appears to be resolved now. Roger Edited July 3, 2013 by Roger
Roger Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 We noticed this morning that we have the same problem, we have contacted OneConnect again regarding the problem Roger
Paul_L Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Yep, same problem back again, checked one of our schools, updated okay last night, but is now broken again, O Dear!!
Arcath Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Seems to be fixed again here. Best place to check if its back/if its OCLs fault is to go to http://sophos2.lancsngfl.ac.uk/cids/S000/ (same username as when used as an update source) and look at the date next to ESXP. Looking at it now they fixed it less than 10 minutes ago.
RichB Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 (edited) everyone getting these errors then??? Or is this a new issue... stand corrected mine updated today at 13:04 its a different issue! Edited July 4, 2013 by RichB
LukeC Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Has anyone noticed in their event logs Event ID 16443 "Product release '7D48A012-0C64-4F21-BA27-A9CEDF442749' could not be updated because the synchronize operation has failed due to an earlier error." since the 28th June until present. Sophos console is reporting as being up to date.
HiredGoon Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 anybody's else Sophos console not been updating recently?
jhothersall Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 You need to change your subscription settings to the newest version, it will then work. Thanks
HiredGoon Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 ok thanks - sorry to be a bit thick(or out of the loop) but could you explain a bit further?
jhothersall Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 go to update manager - then software subscriptions - right click view edit , then change windows 2000 and above to 10.2 recommended. It fixed mine. 1
HiredGoon Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 thanks I will try that....I will let you know how I get on.

LukeC Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Just been informed one connect don't support Sophos enterprise console, anyone else been told this?
jhothersall Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 They say that but they provide it ... How else could you administrate the anti-virus they provide with there isp costs .... Just ask nicely ... Again :-)
