Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? If so what do you think? Aethon Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Been using it for around 6 months now and it's much more stable than the previous solution we used. The reporting functionality is particularly nice as is the ability to redeploy individual apps and profiles to single users. The account management and support teams are also pretty switched on and the account managers are very proactive with chasing up any problems or questions that you may have. 1

If so how do they do that? It means you could enrol staff and student devices using your AD credentials. You could also assign them to locations (folders) based on their AD groups so that, for example, your staff will have access to different apps than your students or some people get more stringent password requirements than others. These credentials could also be used to automatically connect the user to their email or the wireless, if you are using a RADIUS server for authentication. 1

Tricky_Dicky Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Does anyone have any costs for the airwatch service? There is an install/setup cost. Onsite is about £1500 and hosted is £3000, that's a one off cost. Then there is a per year per device fee. On site is about £6 and hosted is £12. Hope that helps
HarryMonkey Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Went to their offices for a demo yesterday and I was impressed with what I saw of it. Especially the ability to have a bookable set that can have a different set of apps deployed based on the lesson they are booked for all done on the fly and in less time than it takes to boot and log into a laptop.
