3s-gtech Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 That is seriously cool - obviously a fairly lucky landing too but could have easily been fatal without that backup. I'd guess many older/high winged etc light aircraft simply couldn't take the stresses on the airframe if devices like this were retro-fitted.
