Bah seen worse on XFM. The breakfast show team once got really drunk at a launch party for XFM Wales. They then set out to disrupt the launch by giving London listeners the answer to their phone-in contest and generally being quite...silly on-air. The entire team got suspended and funnily enough the event seems to have been scoured from Google (probably SEO trickery). It made for a hilarious show to listen to though.

Did anyone ever listen to the Ricky Gervais show on XFM with Merchant and Pilkington? They were swearing all the time which for 1pm-3 on a Saturday afternoon and never seemingly got given the wrap by OFCOM etc.

I only have the downloads, and was wondering how they got away with it. Really, no time delays/bleeps?

That was my thinking. I Googled ages ago and didn't find anything to suggest they didn't get away with it.

IIRC there's no "watershed" on the radio like there is on TV. I believe BBC have a "no swearing" policy, but I've heard some pretty strong language on the comedy shows they air at like 6:30pm on Radio 4 so I don't know how closely they stick to it.
